Sailing with the Whales Overview

Every year, from December through the end of March, visitors to the vacation destination of Puerto Vallarta can see humpback whales in Banderas Bay and the coastal waters of the Pacific Ocean. We will offer vacationers the rare opportunity to see these majestic beasts in the wild from the deck of one of our sleek sailing vessels.  Sailing is a great option for whale watching since there will be no distracting noise from a motor. You will observe these gargantuan creatures like the sailors of ancient times, except that you will be viewing these cetaceans from a modern craft with all of the modern amenities.

The picturesque waters of Banderas Bay, with its pristine waters and bio-diversity, provide an idyllic setting for a fantastic day of sailing. Our bilingual naturalist guides lead you on a sailing expedition across the serene waters of the Bay to find humpback whales while enlightening participants on the behavior, migration routes, mating rituals, and habitat of cetaceans. You will be delighted by the splendor of a humpback whale ascending from the calm surface of the water. You may see humpbacks breach, dive, spout, and slap their tails. You may even be fortunate enough to view a mother with her calf; humpbacks migrate to these sub-tropical waters to give birth and nurse their newborns.

On deck, our accommodating staff will serve you a scrumptious lunch and refreshing beverages with the most beautiful coastal backdrop for ambiance. Depending on the weather conditions, this tour will include a stop at a secluded beach where you can participate in a number of outdoor activities, including snorkeling, sun-bathing, hiking, or swimming.
