Depart from Marina Vallarta with the friendliest crew on Banderas Bay. Our thirty eight foot sailboat, the Rhiannon, is a sleek craft that smoothly cuts through the offshore waves with very little difficulty. Our expert personnel will educate passengers about these astonishingly smart marine mammals. Every year, these remarkable cetaceans venture over great distances from the chilly waters of the Bering Sea. From the start of December through the end of March, more than two thousand Humpbacks migrate to the pleasant protected waters of Bahia de Banderas. These massive animals breed, and birth and nurse their calves in these warm waters. Keep a lookout for nursing mothers with their newly born calves. Be sure to bring a camera to take some action photos of the whales breaching the surface of the water. You will be delighted by the sight of the spray jetting from a Humpback’s blowhole. A tail splash is also quite a dramatic display of power to witness firsthand.
