Marietas Island Snorkeling Overview

This snorkeling expedition starts with a sailboat cruise from Marina Vallarta aboard the sleek 60 foot vessel, the Isis. This complete day of maritime fun is the perfect tour for the entire family. Relax on the sundeck as you enjoy a freshly-prepared continental breakfast. You’ll never eat your breakfast in a more beautiful environment. Enjoy some Latin tunes as you zoom across the bright blue waters of Banderas Bay to the pristine Marietas Islands for this ecological adventure. Pacific Bottlenose Dolphins have been known to surf along in the wake of the boat. During the winter months, you may even spy a breaching Humpback Whale. The friendly English-speaking crew of the Isis will be pleased to enlighten passengers about the indigenous marine life and environment.

After we arrive at our destination, the Marietas Islands, you will experience some of the finest snorkeling on the globe while swimming over a vibrant coral reef habitat. The multi-colored reefs around these picturesque islands provide shelter and food for a mind-boggling array of undersea life, including a spectrum of fish, Olive Ridley Turtles, octopi, and delicate sea horses. If you bring along your children, they will absolutely be enchanted by this thriving underwater habitat.

This federally protected reserve is home to a plentiful array of sea birds. You can take a hike along the pristine sands of the beach or sunbathe along on the picturesque shore. In addition to a complimentary open domestic bar, we also offer a satisfying deli lunch on the deck of the Isis.
